Gears are definitely on my list. If I were to go with a fabberge turbo kit could I use 3.73 gears or higher? I know turbos usually like higher (numerically lower) gears.

I haven't been to Bradenton yet. My shop is very busy this time of the year and I am doing research on transplanting a new LFX engine into my twin turbo LLT. Putting all my free time in that project. I have a new 2014 LFX engine on a stand in my machine shop, just waiting to go in but still getting my ducks in a row.
I have a buddy with a modified Vette, who runs a Bradenton and turns consistent 11.8 seconds in the 1/4 mile and we street race all the time. From light to light, my twin turbo V-6 will out run him. He is amazed everytime we tangle, so I know I have a car that will turn in the high 11's. I used to be a drag racer and this little V-6 is a killer street car. With good traction, it will launch at .74 G's! I always beat SS's, Stangs and Challengers unless they are modified. It's a fun car to drive. |
