Oh, funny tidbit from the install-

the windshield washer fluid bracket (plastic piece under the hood) had a sticker on it that said 'Pre-production" on it...aparently i got a pre production car lol.

that looks great! Me likey.

Any concern when driving in the rain and water is getting forced into the slot and right onto an open airbox like a Roto-Fab, Air Raid, LMR, etc?

Chewy..looks sweet....JMHO..but I would get a closeout panel for the stock inlet in the fascia so you only have the one inlet into the hood....SLP makes one..you can buy it painted your OEM color...Looks great though

Does the new hood block out any more of the road from the driver's perspective?

Nope, suncoast integrated a waterdrain system. Drove home 250 miles and it rained for a lot of it, filter was dry

I completely agree. And i've actually been talking to one of the SLP vendors in geting one. Still debating with myself about spending the extra and having a body shop fill it and paint it

Nope, it's molded after the OEM hood, besides the heat extractors I can hardly see the difference from my seat

They didn't have that many pre-production ones, if it has a 0 before the those digits you posted it would be pre-production, if it has a 1 than it's a normal production car.

That looks really good. What was the final verdict on the MAF sensor codes? Did it come on at all at speed or just idle or ? I have noticed the MAF is pretty particular on this car.

Again, looks great!
