Heads were done as well, not just the llsr. A solid will always make more power than a hydraulic if they're both spec'd correctly. With a solid you get the exact valve events you want, with a hydraulic, it can vary.

No, I haven't been to the track. It's project season for me so I've been busy. Heads and cam currently outflow the intake mani. I fall to around 94-95 kpa above 4300rpms.

My goal before the end of the summer is suspension/tires/intake manifold

Just wait for SeniorSS to finish his in Arizona and see his results. If he makes over 520rwhp then maybe there is something to this, but I have a feeling it will be 480-500rwhp.

I will, but his dyno numbers will be based on 1,000 feet asl, and if done in the next couple months in the Phoenix area, DA will be near 6,000 with the heat and humidity.
And, I know the dyno is only so accurate. track report might be what's really needed here...

Right now the builder, Sean @topgear, and I are waiting for an appointment time with the tuner, Nic....who is very well known for his tuning expertise, especially with the 6l80e transmission.

I don't know what the rwhp numbers will be, but the LLSR cam/Frankenstein heads should pull veryhard on the top end, same said about the 392 hemi and ZL1. The cam was designed/ground for a 3600 stall, yet maintain drivability, so I'm thinking it'll be a hold on ride.

At this time I'm not doing any TP/intake porting, waiting instead to see if the long awaited awaited Vararam intake can walk the talk/hype.

For supporting mods I'm going with 17" Weld wheels with BMR lower control arms (TCA028) that were designed to be compatible with the Weld 17 x10" wheels. Rear tires are M&H 325-45x17" that maintain a 28" diameter tire.

Bolt ons include a CAI cai (adding a scoop), Pfadt Tri-Ys w/hi flow cats and Stainless Works retro chamber exhaust. ....

The T&D shaft mounted rockers should fit under the factory valve covers, if not, Kip included a grooved spacer in the cam kit to save some $$$s and keep the factory covers. Anticipating a future aftermarket intake change out, I'm not doing a coil relocation kit or aftermarket valve covers.

Once things start happening, I'll start another thread with pics, idle quality and spinning on the dyno. This is the worst time of the year in Arizona to get decent rwhp numbers, but it is what it is.

Should run hard either way.

Only thing I don't like is the pfadt headers. Ugh.

Gpi made 550whp through an auto with a similar setup. More duration and lift though, but again, through an auto. I'll get to the track before the end of the year. The car is just a street car for me though. I'm just happy to enjoy it around town right now.
