are you talking about this hood?
you can make it function just like an SS hood. I'm running it right now, but I'm doing a custom ram air intake instead of the loop around style of the SS. you will have to cut the hood to make an opening for the air as the hood is actually a cowl hood.

parts of it I can tell you about, others are trade secrets till things are finalized.
but I can tell you that if you cut the "scoop" open on the hood. you have right around 7" from the opening of the scoop to the throttle body on the engine. what that means is you have to run your MAF and an air pickup/filter in that small amount of space. there's a few options depending on your level of creativity. http://www.vararam.com/g8.html you could take one of these then cut the front portion right past the filter retainer. there's this style but I havent gotten full dimensions on it as it looks too long to fit I've looked into the Blackwing style as well, http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com....html?item=497 but again, I dont have the dimensions and im not about to spend ~$250+ for something thats not going to work there's another filter intake that I found a while back on an australian website for holden Utes. they had dropped an LS7 into a Ute and had a ram air setup, but I could not find it for sale anywhere. right now im working on a fiberglass mold to house a custom K&N filter that will match up with the scoop on the hood

I know. I've got a 94Z that im running this setup on.
im just showing you the options cus no one ever made a direct fit ram air intake for the stinger hood

another option might be the ram air intake from the formula's and the Ultra-Z hoods
http://www.octanemotorsports.com/Che...duct_info.html or running the traditional SS intake http://www.octanemotorsports.com/Che...duct_info.html

look around for some that are for sale used as you can get them cheaper. also keep in mind that the stinger/zroc hood is wider than the SS intake is.
