There's just to much going on, you have basically 2 different computer code languages trying to talk to each other.

I doubt its anything to do with sensors and or modules but most likely a "code" is being transmitted to the BCM that looks like an emergency issue and therefore the BCM/PCM is throwing you into limp mode.

So you have your after market PCM trying to speak to a factory PCM (diff coding) which then speaks your BCM then back to the factory ECM back to your after market PCM which when it doesn't accept the code correctly rejects the code and tells the PCM/BCM something's wrong and to go into limp mode.

I know it's going to be hard but finding a the least amount of parts to get your car to work is going to be te best solution.

aftermarket pcm doesnt talk to the factory one other then sensor status

Unfortunately if he ran it off of the factory pcm then he has to have it retuned and use factory sensors to talk to factory pcm.

Bruce yours is a conventional SBC or LSX style?

I agree, but the factory PCM cannot handle this setup for a myriad of reasons - 16 injectors, progressive dual fuel pump control, extreme high boost compatible, etc.

But I guess someone had to try it and see if they could figure it out I feel for you B. Electronics can be the most frustrating technical issues to deal with unfortunately. By the way, my car has some updated progress pics if you are following it on facebook thru Cincy Speed. Finally headed to the finish

So im guessing what you are doing now is trying to find the loophole to trick the system pretty much.

It goes to get the rest of the codes (hopefully) read tomorrow. If this works this time, we are home free. If not, I am having them hardwire the starter and alternator and I will figure it out in Florida. I plan on going to Pony Wars.
