I was actually looking on the top 10 fast list on here with just power adders. I am not running DR's and skinnies but I have the exact setup with the couple who are running 13.7's. I run at Atco Raceway, my 60' is usually a 2.1 and I'm trapping about 98mph in sport mod.

Post up a couple times slips. Let us take a look at some of the info. and see what we can do to help you out. One thing I can tell you from your comment of 2.1 60' is certainly not helping you any. What tires are your running and size too?

Post a time slip and if possible showing date a time...

Off hand I can tell you you need to get the 60' down. Need to get down to a 2.0 or possibly a 1.9. Also, how are you staging? Shallow or deep?

Le me get my scanner warmed up. And I have no idea what you mean by staging shallow or deep. I usually pre stage at about 800k rpm

I'm not the camaro expert. But even with the 2.1x 60', you should be trapping much higher than 99mph. The bone stock car above trapped at the same speed and produced similar 60'. In my opinion, you may need a tune tweaking. Your car should at least trap 105-106mph with the mods you have.

Edit. Just checked the DA on your September pass and it was -240! That car should be flying down the track. Drag radials will help your 60' and ultimately lower your ET... But it won't address your trap speed, which I think is a bigger concern. Your car isn't breathing up top. 2.1x 60' isn't the worst I've seen. I'd look into your tune first or mechanical issues. Make sure everything buttoned up right

As SCRMING (who taught me the ways of drag racing) has said, get that 60 foot time down. You should be able to get closer to 2.0X. What tires are you using?

That will cut the equivalent of 0.2 at the big end. Are you leaving with traction control on. Because that has been found to help for sure. Also, since you are an automatic let the car do the shifting for you, do not use the tap shifters.

What tire PSI are you using for the rears?

No Camaro on our list is trapping above 104. Our cars are heavy to get moving and takes allot of energy to do so. HP is trap speed.

The LFX Camaro's produce some good HP from the factory. So the one you mention above is running pretty good for sure.

I my self have run trap speeds from 98 - 102 depending on conditions and mods at the time.

I ran with both the trac on and off it doesnt seem to make a difference. I run 255/45/20's Vetnus V12's on the rear at around 25 PSI. I most certainly let the car do the shifting.

One thing about those tires are the size, those are slightly larger than stock, so they have changed your gearing slightly Stock gear is 3.27, your new calculated gear ration is like running 3.21 with that tire size. The other thing might even be the brand itself might not lend itself to well for traction. If you really want to test out what you have try going to some drag radials. I would suggest something like I am using Mickey Thompson Street ET II drag radials 265/40/18

I'm probably not going the drag radial route just for the fact I don't have a place to store them

Ok... looked at the March and the September slip... even though they are a 14.1 and 14.3 they are actually consistent due to the different weather conditions...

I would say you really just need to work on getting the 60' down.... I would work on your launch and watching how you stage.

I would "shallow" stage, which means you roll the car forward just far enough to turn on the "stage" lights (top is pre-stage, bottom is stage). I creep forward incredibly slowly when i want to shallow stage... just enough to get the bottom lights on. What this does is it basically gives you a running start! This will help your ET and Trap speed, but you'll most likely kill your reaction time, which at this point you don't care about, since you are looking to improve your ET....

Next... how are you launching? You mention 800 RPM? So i'm assuming left foot on the brake, right on the gas... are you punching the gas AS you are letting off the brake? (should be kind of a one fluid motion). Also you may want to try bumping the RPM just a bit more... maybe try 1000 to 1200 RPM..

Also, as rtcatman pointed out, your taller tires aren't helping... they've changed your effective gear ratio... didn't change it much.. but it still a change in the wrong direction for getting out of the hole..
