Car just got keyed

Woke up today today to find out someone keyed my car.....awesome.......one solid line from the rear quarter panel to start of the fender! Mind you I don't know anyone at the apt I stayed at. But anyways, can anyone give me a ballpark fig on how much it would be to repair it?

The amount you will owe will really depend on your insurance deductible.

@camarograna2 thanks, I wasn't sure if I was going to go thru my insurance I was just thinking of just paying out of pocket if it wasn't ridiculously expensive

Yeah it is not going to be cheap. I would get an estimate and then if its cheaper than your deductable pay it, if not then use insurance. They won't raise your insurance rates due to vandalism. Sorry it happened bro. Are you still going to make auto X at NAS Waldron this Sunday?

I think so, yeah I just got an estimate for $650. But I'm going to drop it off tue morning. Where is it going to be exactly, and I would need to borrow a helmet too.

At NAS Waldron. I will post within a couple days when we will meet. The plan is to meet at the dillards side of the La Palmera parking lot in the morning on Sunday and drive over to NAS waldron in a group (should be about 8 of us). According to MP5998 they have helmets you can borrow. Where did you have the estimate done? That sounds resonable and I need to have some custom paint done.

@Mr. Texas...thanks, ya it stinks but it could have been worse i guess, they could have slashed my tires or keyed more of the car. @usnatclee.....i get all my aftermarket body work done at ricks detailing off of ayers. They did an awesome job of color matching for my body kit and have added my heritage grill and front induction ports. They gave me a price of $650 not too bad. But im going to drop off my car tue after labor day
