I hate to ask a stupid question but what makes the RS tail light different from the standard tailight? So far it looks like the glass is darker. what else is there. Are they halogen lights?

Looks good. You should do the black bowtie, too.

Thanks. I did already actually. I need to take a new pic. I've also ditched those trash can mufflers for a cat back Magnaflow exhaust.

Looks really nice. Did you paint the bezels yourself? What type paint did you use, and what surface prep did you do?

Here's what it looks like now with the bowtie blackout and the Magnaflow on and the trash cans gone.

why not just take your tail lights to any body shop and have them spray some black on them cost alot less for the same look.

Or just spray paint them yourself, it would be even cheaper. Why don't you do that and let us know how it turns out.

its not the lens, the casing behind the lens is black instead of chrome, which makes the RS lens look darker and cool (especially when lit up at night!).

The difference between the RS tail lights and the standard tails lights is that the standard tail light housing interior is plastic chrome. And the RS tail light housing interior is black. Hence the darker color. The lense may be a shade darker too.
