Magnuson Supercharger & Boost Gauge?
I know where to connect the boost gauge but all the Magnuson has is a nipple for a hose. Do you just connect a hose to that and run it over near master brake booster, then connect the hose to my sensor? I am using an AEM Boost gauge!

Yes, the Maggie has a port on the back of the lower intake that is there for boost reference. You can route the hose to your gauge. There is a hole in firewall from the factory with a grommet. It is near the Master Cylinder and makes a great pass-thru for accessories. I use it for gauges and methanol all the time.

The hole in the firewall is way up high above the dead pedal on the driver's side.

search as "firewall pass through" that's how I found it...driver's side firewall about 4" above power cable you will see a hole with a grommet a little smaller than your thumb. Easy to poke out. From inside the car, it is above the kick panel trim a couple of inches toward the side.

I get power from the back of the fuse box on the drivers side. I tap into the green wires that are for the 12V accessory ports. I don't like to have wires going in on the front side. This makes a real clean set up. When you remove the fuse box cover it still looks factory. All the wires are hidden behind the fuse box.
I also added a separate fuse holder. The grommet is behind the firewall insulation. You can just poke a hole in it and pass your hose or wires through it. |
