2011 Camaro Convertible GM Media Event - May 7th - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Houston was chosen for this convertable media event due to Camaro Sales volume. Local dealers provided 30 convertables for a photo shoot and parade from Galveston to the Kemah Boardwalk.

The best part is they invited 10 Camaros from the H-Town Camaro Club...

Can't say enough about how nice the entire GM staff were to us. I'm pretty sure they enjoyed seeing he heavily modded cars that showed up too.

Everyone was invited to bring their Camaros out and join up at Landrys on the Kemah Boardwalk. Many of the HTCC members were there which made this an even bigger event. Afterwards we caravaned down to Ellington Field for Aeros and Autos and later on we hit West Houston Muscle street meet.

What a great Saturday..

Thanks to all who came out and showed your Camaros.

Hopefully we'll see this in an upcoming GM ad..

Here are some more pics. We could only have 10 cars from the club at the photoshoot, but so many of our other members showed up to greet us and hang out in Kemah. What an awesome group we have.

We have the Kemah Show in June and Camaro Nationals later this year!

This one was just the beginning... we caravaned to Aeros & Autos at Ellington Field for the rest of the afternoon...

Then on to West Houston Muscle street meet...

Then we took over a local Mexican restraunt and finished out the night in style...

All of this and we missed Houston Cars n Coffee... no time to do it all...

Today was a day of rest thank god...

Really wish you could have made this one... left the house at 5:45 AM and didn't get home til 11PM... Nothing but good ole Camaro fun and lots of it...
