Damn Wingnut, sorry to hear about that. We'll have to keep a close eye on what the deal was. Sure the'll get it fixed soon, but still that sucks.

Hope to see you back on the road or at Biff's soon bro.

Sorry about your car, as long as they get it fixed it's ok, hopefully they can correct it the first time and it will be a minor fix, loose bolt etc...I know it really sicks bad but maybe it will help someone down the road, Please let us all know what they find. Thanks

I posted this in case others had the problem and to report what the cause and solution is. I'll keep you posted. Went by the dealer and their computer had taken a dump, so they haven't been able to run the diagnostics yet.

Bashing the dealer.....not you SamsinSS

UPDATE - Problem found. There is a yellow wire that leads to the starter that has a clip type connector on the end. It was not pushed on complete until is "snaps." It's now installed correctly and all is good in the world again.

This is why I love this site. Just in case this ever happens to me I can tell the shop how to fix it or do it myself.

Ah yea this is that connector problem.

Everyone that has one should inspect this at home. If we could get someone to post some pics of the connector would be cool. This has happend a bunch of times.

I think maybe the TSB needs to be updated to tell techs to check this after the cable work. I bet the process pulls on this cable and they are missing that it comes out.
