1LE Matte Hood Question
Whats under the matte hood? I'm wanting a black on black and don't like the matte hood. Does anyone know if it's just primered or is it fully painted?

fully painted underneath. You can cut and peel the vinyl off the hood.....carefully.

The members on here that have removed theirs recommend removing the wrap as soon as possible to make it easier to remove the adhesive.

What!?!?! Am I reading this right?? If I want a BRM 1le and I don't like the black hood, I can just peel it off and I'll have a fully painted BRM hood underneath?? thanks....

I would be looking down the road what the wrap on the hood will look like. Will it chalk up and have a milky color to it etc. From what I understand the hood wraop is not covered by GM but a seperate warranty. I could be wrong.

Don't do it! The hash marks plus that hood will look amazing! Remember I have to live my 1LE through yours! Lol.
You know what I was thinking. I may get the ZL1 hood wrapped in matte black and get the spoiler painted matte satin black as well just like the 1LE. Now I don't think I've seen that done on a ZL1 and I truly believe that would be sexy. |

TRAMTWO - was it hard to get the adhesive off? Any staining? What did you use to remove the adhesive? Still haven't ordered mine yet....and still haven't decided if I will leave on the wrap or take it off.
