Is she around your age? She's probably just ignorant to the generations/years and sees "Camaro" and thinks kids in the 90's driving the 3rd gen which would have been fairly cheap by that time.

I see 10,000 kids driving all over my town with 90's Camaro and Mustang because they only cost a few grand. You tell me how many PEOPLE, not just high schoolers, can afford a $25,000 (base) 5th gen camaro.

I don't get the whole "practical" line of BS.

It has 4 wheels, uses a readily available fuel source. Gets me where I need to go. I have a Jeep to drive in the winter. A sedan to haul the kids (an suv is in the works. kids are still young)

My bills get paid on time, my kids have the newest toys, my fiancee gets spoiled. I own a home. There's plenty of food in the fridge. Hell. I even have a dog.

I'm not rich, I'm not poor. I work my ass off and so does my woman. We have a very nice life and if some half wit co-workar tried to tell me that I was too old (I'm 32) for my Camaro then she could F*** straight off the nearest cliff. Midlife crisis my ass, I've wanted this car since I was 16.

Don't feel bad,I was told that by me owning a camaro it was a bad influence on the neighbors, because it was going to make them jealous, my response was that have lots of them at the dealer go help yourself. At 30 your just a spring chicken.

So every time she sees a Camaro, she thinks of a kid driving it..

When she said this, I was pissed the f*** off! So every time I see her, I see RED! It's not an effin 4 cylinder honda!!!

She's menopausal, menopausal women drive hummers to compensate for their need to feel more powerful as their sexuality wanes.

I guess I am old too then. Not everyone who has a Camaro is a spoiled kid, in fact, I would venture to say most are not.

I thought I was doing pretty well at only 30 years old to pay ~44K cash out the door...

30 is no where near old. She just wanted to insult you or maybe she has a mind of 70 year old.

Sounds like one of those people that think Life has to "end" after 30. "Oh i'm over 30, time for kids and work. No more fun, just ho hum life."
