Exhaust/Headers Combo

Hello All,

I have a 2012 45th Annv V6 automatic and I was looking for a good combination between a new exhaust and headers that provide the greatest HP gain. Looking for input and opinions from my fellow Camaro drivers

The LFX engine on your car cannot have headers by any means. You're best option is Full exhaust systems, Cold air intakes, throttle body spacer, throttle body controller... Or just twin turbo that son of a gun

If your looking for sound increase and a more aggressive tone you'll want to do solo high flow cats (pricey but they don't seem to throw codes and give good gains) and a catback or axle back exhaust system. Exhaust is a matter of opinion but anyone one of te quality systems avaliable for our cars should get you grinning. I'd also recommend a rotofab cold air intake or a CAI inc intake as well those two seem to make our cars sound more aggressive under throttle. My rotofab really sounds awesome! I plan on doing an exhaust to compliment it.

Save ALL of your mod money. And turbo it. For reals. LFX just begs to be charged, because of the single port exhaust manifold set up.

Totally understand. I got my car 2 years ago. I've learned a lot about cars in general since joining this site. Use the search feature on here and just read about everyones mistakes and achievements. Knowledge is powaahh.
