well if you want a 1LE IMO it shouldn't have leather. LIMITED EQUIPMENT! if you want leather it should be an option that you throw on. meaning you're getting a de-contented 1SS and can throw on leather seats at a cost. but the LE kills your leather in the car IMO.

and Mag ride is good for people that don't want to race in SCCA.

I agree, but the next big jump from 1LE to Z28 would be at least a 460HP engine if not the LS7 that we all want.

To make a Z28 start with the 1LE and add:

LS7
6/4 2 Piece Brakes
Full Aero Kit
Hot Wheels Hood
Hot Wheels Wheels
Mono Tube Suspension 4 Corners
Race Designed Bucket Seats
Leno Front Fascia
Euro Rearend

Heat on high forever!

I hear ya', and there was a time when I said that CAMARO wouldn't get newer technology than 'Vette - and I was wrong, so... I still don't know about a Gen V, but something more efficient and with more power won't be turned away by me

If they use the Z28 to showcase the new DI (HO) engine (ala LT1 1970) I would be fine with that.

But a 427 5Gen Z28 would be so COOL!

Let's not forget that the original 350cid SBC was also first showcased in the '67 SS Camaro a full year before it showed up in the Vette.

You are correct, I thought it went to the Vette in '68, but a quick check of specs showed otherwise.

I would be happy with the new DI engine in the Z28 if it was an HO version. I'd still prefer the LS7 it just fits the Z28 image perfectly.

...I'm with ya there Chance..., addendum: 2013 might not be the year of the Z because of yet to be released SS/1LE slated for same, but it may be the year we have to petition Mr. Reuss a bit harder, and get it in 2014.

Z28 for 6th gen. Or they'd have done it already. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
