I just ordered the LS9 cam as this is what Lingenfelter uses for their builds as it is not real aggressive but also gives great sound and is very driveable. GMP has this cam for about $95. It is the same cam the ZR1 has.

To the OP .. I'd ping LG motorsports or ADM performance. I think ADM had a cam they installed (stage 1) that didn't even require a tune, but gave some good gains. Crowley

I like DanD's setup, that thing sounds nice with that mild lop. What cam kit was that DanD?

I should have stated that I have the TVS2300 installed to go along with the cam.

Very suprising considering the LSA on the ls9 cam ..
EDIT: Checking around, it looks like they are close to the same specs, but the LS7 cam has a bit more lift on the intake and exhaust side. Thanks, Crowley

Thunder Racings TREX.
Seriously though, you might want to be more specific on what you want. Because to me all cams are streetable. I daily drove a TREX for 2 years with a th350 and 4k stall. LOL. |

been there too. I have a very wide definition of "streetable" Quote:
Auto or manual? I imagine Manual. best advice I can give you is to call every cam manufacturer you can. my personal choice for LS3/L99 cams is these guys http://www.mastmotorsports.com/page....Camshaft&id=32 or these guys http://www.compperformancegroupstore...&Category_Code

one of these: https://texas-speed.com/shop/categor...ID=11&catid=44
i prefer the ls7s cam with .700 max lift valve springs: https://texas-speed.com/shop/item.as...d=997&catid=48 , and standard length Chromemoly pushrods: https://texas-speed.com/shop/item.as...d=152&catid=51 , and solid lifters: https://texas-speed.com/shop/item.as...d=149&catid=50 all this extra stuff is required with an ls7s cam. hp gain would be about 100-130 rwhp *and good drivability* |

SO for the L99's, would a cam switch out be just that? No need for new valves, rockers, springs, etc.?
