In addition to Saturday C N C (at Eastern and Richmar), the locals are planning to get together tomorrow evening (Wednesday) at Sonic on Flamingo at 6:30PM. Hope you can come out.

Thanks, Miss HotRodSally! Unfortunately I didn't get this message until today. :( But I did click to join the group here on C5.

I already "liked" the FB SCCC FB page and checked out their normal web page.

I ended up picking up my Camaro 2SS/RS on Friday. I'm totally stoked! Only thing I'm having in a small battery issue that I'm going to call the dealer about tomorrow (I also put up a thread here to try and get some info on it). Other than that, everything seems good to go.

Hopefully next Saturday we'll be able to come out to CNC and say hi. I just pray it's not as hot. This heat totally sucks. :(

Was nice meeting some of the SCCC members today at C&C. Cool setup. My first time at C&C and it was pretty darn cool. Everything I'd hoped for and it was great meeting and hanging out with some of the SCCC members and having breakfast as well.

Definitely a cool deal and a warm welcome. Looking forward to next time!

Just moved to Vegas everyone and thinking about starting detailing cars on the side as well as teaching people how to detail cars. Let me know if you have any questions, I was thinking about heading out to Cars and Coffee this weekend if the club was going to be out there.

Welcome, EC!!!

Definitely show me a thing or two. When I bought my 2SS/RS a couple of weeks ago, I noticed that the person must have either tried to wax the matte stripes or something because you can see some swirl marks in the black matte stripes on the hood. :(

If you could let me know how to fix that and get rid of the swirl marks, I would be grateful. I just hope the stripes are not permanently damaged. :(

Unfortunately with vinyl stripes it's pretty difficult to fix damage done by them. I'm going to be trying out some Meguiar's M39 and M40 and see if I can fix some minor scratches I have on mine. I'll let you know the results. And I'll do some more research tonight and see what I can find. The vinyl stripes are the most finicky part on this car to try and fix, most just recommend replacing.

When we bought out Camaro we had the same issue with both Camaros we bought the V6 and then the V8. Try Adam's VRT it is amazing stuff. We had swirls and the vinyl was not up to our picky standards. Now my baby is beautiful. Welcome to Vegas!
