Finally out from under the car cover
I haven't touched this car in the past 14 months. Tuning has kept me busy with customer cars with no time to work on my own. While the 434 lsx is being freshened im going to put a stock ls3 motor in the car and crush some records. This is how the car sits now waiting on the paint shop. 5 weeks from now ill be back running and 550lbs lighter than last years 3930 lb raceweight. Huge thanks to BMR for the rear suspension parts to make the 15's fit.
Motor and trans out. Everything under the hood and inside trunk removed for paint. Getting repainted back factory color except the VFN hood and Carbon trunk. |

What else are you doing to shed 550 lbs., besides the brakes, wheels, tires?

Nice looking car, what's the NA record for a COPO, 9.20's?

I went 10.18@134 at 3880 lbs making 565 rwhp. I fixed some issues with the Lsx motor and looking to make 650 this time around. Best I could see it running is a 9.60@140. I also fully plan on running 9.60's with a stock ls3 bottom end on a little nitrous. |

Uh, thats easy with a 2 speed or a huge converter and a 3speed and a gear. Don't get hung up on #s, its a lot easier to go fast then most people seem to have success with, with these cars. Just a matter of the right parts. My shit would fly with a 4.30 or 4.56, but then it wouldn't be worth much on the street.
