The 2013-2014 Track Pack includes everything from the Brembo Package. Regardless of what the brochure says the Brembo Package adds suspension, brakes and wheels. The 2013-2014 Track Pack adds the Boss 302 radiator, oil cooler, rear axle assembly w/Torsen differential and 3.73 gear ratio.

Your wrong there buddy, just beat one at Fayetteville Drag....His 12.7, to my 12.6. Posting time slips soon, just have to figure out how. With the right mods, you can easily spank a stock 5.0. And I did it with the L99...LT's, CAI,Tune, stock rubber with 1.9ft...with TC on

I race a friends 2011 5.0 with the brembos and 373 gears//we race on a new road not open to the public yet. I have i99 with magnaflow competition exhaust with k@n cai ..with solo hi flow cats. I seem to hang with him better paddle shifting. From a 20 roll both in 1st I get him by 1/2 fender...2nd gear hes not gaining but im not pulling...when we go into 3rd he pulls ahead to stay. We have raced 10 or 12 times. Hes a good driver. I have beat him a few times only due to him making a mistake...rev limiter etc. He has borla cat back exhaust with airade cai.

It is not surprising at all that the 5.0 won these races. The 1LE is going to need DRs to be competitive.

So a mid-high 13 second car versus a mid-high 12 second car and you win, awesome. With that being said the mods on both cars did nothing but make them slower unless they were tuned.

Who cares because the 1LE will beat a Mustang GT around the road course which is all that matters!

Like Tom & Jerry... this debate never ends.

What matters to one doesn't necessarily matter to another. Both 1LE and 5.0 are awesome fast rides... Sometimes one, sometimes the other... a critical denominator is the driver ability/skills.

I have won when he makes a mistake .And like I said this isn't the track...these things don't hook well. Im not saying im faster...he wins most of the time..im not repeating what ive read on here...im not quoting magazine write ups...this is real life ..those cars fly. Ive driven it many times but I still prefer my ss even if its slower. The driver makes or breaks these races..if hes on that race he wins...if he isnt well he just wins by a little less..and sometimes i do win out right. Hes a better then average driver, Your right awesome.

I don't give two shits about track numbers let alone magazine tests.

I think it's safe to say that these cars are close from a dig and a roll. If it is important to you that your car is faster than the other then just throw a little money into a good exhaust and tune. You will be faster than stock.

After that it is really how much you are willing to spend, there will always be someone faster. If I get beat by N E one I applaud them for having a sweet ride. They are both nice cars, I however much prefer the Camaro.

Please stop already!!!

The new logo for this place should be:

Camaro5, Where a 5.0 and Camaro SS is a drivers race.
