Whats the "heritage grill" ?

I keep hearing this referred to, and something about the color of it too...but can somebody please give me the complete info on this option? Is a dealer option, aftermarket or what?

It is listed in the GMPP parts Catalog, I am not sure if it is listed as an LPO option but it is listed for about 250 dollars I think in the catalog.it resembles the 69 camaro's RS grill...

I've honestly never seen that b4, very cool. I like it better than the stock grill, any idea how much that'd run for?

$305.00 is list price - part only. Currently the Grille is not an LPO. ...Only LPO's include the labor for install...OTC or Over the Counter Sales would have to be installed by customer or dealer for an added charge...With Door rates of 90.00 to 150.00 an hour you would need to add 1.5 hours labor to install...
Now, if dealer installs you get the factory warranty 3 yrs 36k ..If you do the install you get 12 months / 12k warranty...no reimbursement for your labor..

Anybody who can change batteries in their flashlight can install a grill. If any part of it breaks later the dealer is going to tell you something hit it and not cover it on warranty anyhow...so save the money on labor and put it towards a new one if something breaks it later.

Has anyone seen this up close and personal yet? Can anyone get the installation instructions and post them so we can see what to expect for a self installation?

That is interesting. it looks like the grill off of the 69 RS camaro.

I am not sure if I like it more than I do the regular grill. I was more a fan of the regular 69 Camaro grill over the RS package look.

Would it be possible to switch back and forth between the two, provided you keep bolting them on and off? lol
