I installed the E-Force 1596
Well, it took me about 30 hours all told, but I got the E-Force installed!! I also have the Stainless Works 1-7/8 long tubes. I still have to take care of the air intake (not sure if Edelbrock is ready to ship their part #15988) and get it tuned & dyno at HiTech Motorsport in Elk River, MN). Not a bad project I have to say. I know a couple of others have shared a lot of detail on this install so I won't go into that. I'll post up the dyno results as soon as I get them.

Looks much better without the rail covers installed IMO. Cool setup

I have it in the shop right now...it should be tuned by tomorrow....can't wait! I'll post the results. The only part that didn't fit correctly was the supplied manifold to brake booster vacuum line - it was a few inches too short. Other than that it went together very well.

Had the same issue with the brake booster line, they sent the vette version along with the vette version engine covers.

Well, I had it tuned at HiTech (they did a great job, very easy guys to work with *free plug for ya' Bart). Kept the 3.5" pully and got 500hp at the wheels. I know, I know, I can get more with a smaller pulley but right now, its exactly what I want. Tire smoking power to spare. Got rid of the displacement-on-demand which makes it much better to drive at lower speeds IMO. I really like that while cruising you don't even know its there - no noise, no nothing. But hit the pedal and WOW!! I've still got the stock mufflers on, the car did - of course - get a little louder with the SC and headers. I'm trying to decide if I like the tone or should go with something a little deeper. All in all, I enjoyed installing the kit and am more than impressed with the results.

Edelbrock fans, just a quick note that might help you avoid a problem. I didn't notice this when I installed the air inlet tube, but it pushed one of the SC coolant lines down on to the PS pulley. I caught it before it began to leak (just dumb luck) and stapped the line away from the pulley. Just thought I would share this in the name of supporting my brethren.
