Should i do it?

My brembos on the 2ss are squealing but not 100% of the time. Just enough to annoy me (especially driving in the city) . Now the bulletin calls for the dealer to replace the front pads which will get rid off the weights and be replace by those ugly look like skateboards weights in its place.

Most on here say, changing those pads will not or has very little chance of curing the squealing , and I just stops and looked at those new front brakes on another SS at the dealership and wowww,, ugly as hell.

Is it worth the try? or will my brembos eventually stop squealing?

What do you guys think?

You can try heat cycling the pads. Find an open stretch of road and from 40 MPH stand on the brakes hard down to 20 MPH. Do it again from 60 MPH. If you are in a track one more time from 80 MPH. Then continue down the road / track and let them cool. Avoid coming to a complete stop until the brakes cool. This form of bedding does wonders for noises and stopping power.
