Convertible Trunk Dimensions

Hi guys does anyone have the dimensions of the Convertible trunk with the roof down. I need both the space under the roof and the space left over.

Cheers in advance

We did camaro fest this year......luggage for 1 week, 2 people. Was able to make it work for us, 2 weeks would also be possible. BUT......definitely has to be duffle bags, something you can squash and pack into small areas. Small ones for under the folded roof and larger ones for the back area of the trunk. Hope this helps, don't have actual measurement but I could measure later if you need them

You can also use the back seat too.
When we went and picked up our car in Detroit. We had enough stuff for two people for 6 days. We learned when we had a Saturn Sky what was really necessary to take on trips. We even drove most of the way home with the top down and had plenty of trunk space.

My concern with the back seat is do I really want to be driving around LA or SF with the roof down and my luggage sat on display on the rear seat if im stuck in heavy traffic etc

Since the width measurements vary so much from front to back, I'm not sure where to measue, but if your looking for the vertical dimensions with the top up and with it down, that's easy enough to measure.
With the Camaro, there is (if you'r not already aware of it) a horizontal 'window shade' that must be extended before you are able to lower the top. It's there to ensure that whatever you have in the trunk is low enough in that area to provide enough room for the top when it's lowered.
If you're not going to lower the top, that 'window shade' can be retracted fully, allowing you to use the full vertical capacity of the trunk.
Even with the 'window shade' extended, it doesn't extend all the way to the rear bumper, so there's still a portion of the trunk that is not 'vertically challanged'.

What im really looking for is the HEIGHT, WIDTH AND DEPTH of the area below the shade. And the same again to the area infront of the shade unaffected by the shade. As for the width varying just a rough idea would be great or a Widest and Narrowest width of this area

Width = 47"
Height = 7"
Depth = 34"

Roughly 7 cubic feet of space.

As other have mentioned, soft luggage such as duffel bags is your best bet.

Sounds like room for a couple of duffle bags and a garment bag slid under the roof draw. You definitley won't get a suitcase in there, that's questionable even with the top up..lol
