390 not 380. face it mustang owners the SS is really faster. 20lbs = .02 in the 1/4 mile. that accounts for the difference. 255/40-19 are not the standard tires. C&D are idiots. 235/50-18. good thing it is a first drive or i'd be worried a car with a better power to weight ratio, better gearing will lose to an SS

The 13.2 matches another run..I forget who did it.
So far the runs have been between 12.7 and 13.2. |

It's good to see a battle. There was a lot of initial hype about that 5.0L Mustang. It is good to see a demonstration of the Camaro beating it. It's a close race, and arguing over such a small difference is futile. After all, none of us are hitting the track stock.

It's definately going to come down to who's the best driver. By no means will the 11 Mustang GT walk away from the Camaro SS like a lot of people have been saying.

And there is still a Honda civic in every town that will rip both the camaro and mustang a new one. Who cares which is faster, straight line ain't nothing my 7 year old GIRL could mash a pedal and hold a wheel straight My three old son can shift for her. let's go to a real road course that has curves (left and right corner, NASCAR fans) and see the car perform and the driver. who leaves these cars stock anyway?
