SS heated seats.
The drivers seat electric heater on my '10 Camaro SS turns off automatically after
less than a minute. It Never really heats up. Does anyone know if there's a manual adjustment for the thermostat, or is it not working correctly? I can't find anything in the owners manual. It was 19 degrees outside AM today.

I haven't had time to try it. I have an extended warranty, I might go that route. Good luck. |

repairing it due to the work involved. I was hoping that it was just a blown fuse or something simple. Plus I go to Fl now every Feb, March, April.

I've had that problem since I bought my car and took it to the dealership 3 times and it still doesn't work. They have replaced the wires, replaced the whole heat unit in the seat and still can't figure out why it's not working.

Thats why I'm just going to live without a heated seat after I see what's involved.

worse than when they brought them in. Poor repairs or unrelated damages or an additional 90 miles, etc. Plus I don't think I've used the seat heater 5 or 6 times in 7+ years.

I had this happen to me a cpl years ago. Its a pretty simple fix. Pull the seat back cover off, follow the wire, find the crimped/short. Re-splice it and good to go. Pulling the seat cover off was the hardest part of the whole job. Just be take your time when doing everything and you should be good to go. There was a DYI thread here somewhere, not sure if it was the same one posted above, as I didnt click on it. But search for it and follow the steps and that should help you.
