Question How Long Should it Take???

Here is my question...
I placed my order on the 4th of December and have not heard a single thing about it..(that really wasen't a question at all more like a statement) So what happens after you order? Timeframe? Information? E-mails?

They are on a break right now, I believe it was from mid december to the 10th of January or so. Should be 6-8 weeks.

one question you need to ask, when you placed your order, DID YOUR DEALER HAVE AN ALLOCATION......or were you actually put on a waiting list. There are a LOT of people that didn't know to ask this question, adn the dealers didn't tell them.

You pretty much have to track it yourself. Use the tools available on the site. I'd guess delivery sometime mid-March

It takes 6-8 weeks IF your build date is shortly after your order date however there is currently almost a 1 month wait period in between ordering and production. Add in that they are are off 2 weeks for christmas and 1 week for retooling, you are looking at closer to 10-12 weeks.

You have a build date already?! I ordered mine on 12/4 as well and mine is still at 1100.

I made sure to ask my dealer about allocation and they assured me the car would be there in 6 weeks. But he did tell me the factory was closing for 3 weeks or so, so that would put it to about 9 weeks.

I figured I'd have a TPW at least before they went on break. :(

I ordered my car Nov. 9 (my dealer had several alloocated to him). He thought it would take 5 weeks and I'd get it before xmas. That didn't happen. The tracking site said it was supposed to be built the week of 12/21. However, it doesn't look like my car has been built yet.

It will be 9 weeks since I ordered it when the Camaro plant opens again on Jan. 11.
I still hope I'll get it before the end of January.

Not happening bud even if it is built on Jan 11. It takes 3 days to build the car. From there the car will sit on the lot for 3-5 days waiting to be loaded onto the train. Then it takes about a week to be shipped to the closest rail yard. It will sit here 3-5 days awaiting to be loaded onto a trailer and then it will take 2-3 days to arrive at the dealer depending on your position in line. At best you are looking at second week of February.
