Longest you've gone without washing

First off, my camaro is my DD.

I have been super busy and haven't had time to wash my car.

I'm riding 3 weeks as of today :(. Gonna wait for rain to pass and wash it Sunday hopefully.

I DD mine as well, and 3 weeks is pushing it for me, tell you the truth when the seasons of rain every few days is here what I do is a quicky wash, basically use my same soap and all just I dont dry it really, rinse the car real good after I finish washing and use the air gun and the California wiper blade and get the bulk off and call it a day. Ill also just clean the wheels an tires real good just no shine and blow the wheels off. Takes all of 30 mins maybe. My main thought is getting grim and brake dust off and a few water spots no biggie.

When I have a clear week ahead I do my in the door jams, under hood and wheel wells etc and a good dry and spot touch up (bug removal, tar etc)

I try to clar bar and get a good polish and I use paste wax like 1 time a year then I just use a quick wax and the car seems to hold up very well and makes it easier to clean when I wait 2 weeks or so lol.

3 weeks is pushing it for me too - Though in the bad winter months it'll now be in the garage. So 6 weeks or so. I try to keep her clean at all times. Most junkers I see on the road would not be that way if they were taken care of.

Just take it through a touchless car wash. They're a little more expensive, and they won't get everything off, but the car will look presentable for a daily driver.

I hand washed my 2012 Camaro a few days ago and vowed I shouldn't have. Seeing all the rock chips, scratches, etc that accumulated from being a daily driven vehicle just made my stomach churn. To make matters worse, I had a piece of gunk stuck on the bumper in front of the headlight. I had my super plush washmit on and gently wiped back and forth trying to free the gunk. When I moved my hand back, the gunk was gone but I have a ton of scratches in my paint now. I swear our paint is so tender that I feel like I could get all the way through the paint by just pushing my finger nail against it. I also discovered a rock chip in my windshield right on the very edge that's cracked about 3 inches long... I just can't remember any of my other daily drivers being THIS fragile.

I go about a month in between my washes but my Camaro isn't a DD. My DD gets washed weekly though.

I have to wash mine every 4 or 5 days or I go nuts. I live 1/3 mile in on a dirt road that coats my car in moon dust in the summer months.
