I got the aluminum pipes today and the mandrel bent pipes were longer than the spectre chrome ABS pipes. The 90 degree ABS pipes had a very sharp turn while the aluminum is more gradual. Due to this I had to modify the pipes a little bit. The first 90 degree bend I trimmed 1 inch off the end to the throttle body, then the 6 inch pipe I had to trim it down to 4 inches. I tried to see if I can replace the bottom pipe but I couldn't get the 3 inch pipe to work unless I was to trim part of the radiator fan shroud.

I also put my bigger methanol nozzle right in the silicon coupler in front of the throttle body and the second smaller one is in another location that I am going to test out.

Wahoo, got the IPF trans tune ready for my car. Will be installing it at lunch. Won't be going to the track for a while though, rain, rain, and more rain are forecasted.

Well, speaking of the track...

Saturday we put an MRT catted H-pipe in the Mustang... My 7 year old daughter was NOT HAPPY with the stock design...

So took the Mustang to the track yesterday.. WOW! I know it's only a wild guesstimate... BUT, last weeks best "corrected" time was 13.65 while yesterdays best "corrected" time was 13.42!!! Going to try and get the car on the dyno soon to verify, but in my mind, the new catted h-pipe has a nice performance bump! Along with a nice MPG increase!

So yeah, you need to get your wife some tires!!!!!!

I have no clue what Russian letter the stock pipe is, its like a cross between a H and X. When we put BBK long tubes on with a catted X-pipe she gained 0.5 seconds ET. Chevy needs to get a better performance friendly V6 in their Camaro.

Tires will take a little longer now, wife found an 8-week old German Shepherd puppy and bought it for $450. She has wanted one since we met over 7 years ago. The puppy's dad is 100 lbs, so he will be a great guard dog at car shows. Keep people away from touching our cars.

Good looking dog. They seem very loyal, he follows us around everywhere right now. We also have 2 Jack Russell Terriers, hoping all 3 wear each other out.

Ditto that! We had Sam- also a German Shepard and the best dog I ever had. Got him from a shelter but the big CA took him after 10yrs.

Enjoy them while you have'em. The good ones never last as long as you'd like...

I know my wife is going to be torn apart when our oldest dog goes. She got him as a puppy when she volunteered at an animal shelter.

Picture of our German Shepherd from last Wednesday when we picked him up.

I installed a 3" Hump Hose and a Mishimoto 3" diameter 4" length silicon hose with a 1/8" NPT bung pre-installed. I then put my GM IAT in the 90 degree elbow before the throttle body.

Now for the weird part, my LTFT's are at 0% at idle. Last week they were -20% with 100% gas, -10% with 10% ethanol. Even with the regular silicon hose that IPF shipped I was getting -10% with ethanol on the LTFT's. They may need to implement a hump hose on the stock hose.

I will get a better picture later, Thursday I am getting some new silicon couplers to replace the rubber ones. Also replacing my gutted cats with straight pipes.

Same as the LLT, I took the 2 wires for the IAT and placed it after my meth nozzle to get an accurate reading on the air going into the engine. If the intercooler heat soaks and my meth is not working it will pull timing instead of dumping massive fuel to save the engine like it did on the dyno.

It looks like to Borg have taken over your engine!

No worries. You have a kick ass ride.

It's all about the end result on the time slip that counts!
