Well, I'm still waiting as this issue gets passed around GM desks apparently. You know..all I've got to say so far is this is a real crock of BS.
I and many others are not happy about this and other disparity between customers based on where they live. 1. Car is built in Canada for gosh sakes 2. U.S 2012 ZL1 customers are supplied first with no relation to order date. a paid order should be a paid order, so this is retarded. 3. U.S 2012 ZL1 customers received a hood credit on their invoice immediatly. 4. Canadian customers pay more freight than U.S customers even with the shipping to another country. You can't tell me its cheaper to ship a car to Texas from Ontario that it is to ship from Ontario to B.C. that is just a load of cr**. There are some subsidies going on there, and why? Honestly..If I do not recieve my credit I am going to court to get it. I have spent 140k on new GM vehicles in the last 3 years and honest to gosh if I don't see something to make me feel better about the treatment of Canadians from GM, my next and all further purchases will be with a different manufacturer, and I have a LOT more new vehicles to buy before I am done. This sucks for my dealer, who I really have a great relationship with. 600 bucks is only 1% of what I paid for my car. Its not the money thats the issue here. Its just about fair business. There is NO REASON WHATSOEVER that Canadians should not recieve this rebate except for the fact that we are deemed not important for some odd reason. This has gone on long enough now its just getting ridiculous.

Yup me too. Principle of the thing. Its just petty for them to do something like this. I guess we will show them with our pocket books. I think I will buy the Nissan GTR. I know their customer service is exemplary. They bend over backwards for their customers. I'm hoping GM Canada can fix this oversight, and I am still holding out (for now) for them to do the right thing. I'd like to believe they care about us. I will see what happens in the next week or so.
