A tribute to the best car ever made (Yes ever so slightly better than the Camaro)
I've watched this about 15 times straight and just now am able to pull myself away from it to post about it. Too bad they're easily twice the price of the Camaro. Never really said anything about it other than it was on my top 5 cars list, but tonight work is slow so I gravitated back towards this sound again. |

IS IT 2009 YET???

I think I might have to agree...I love my Vette! But a 355 would be a slice of heaven to drive when ever you wanted.

Awright, cmon now....this is a Ferrari, not a Camaro. Best car ever? That is debateable. Can I afford one? Can I insure one? Would I feel okay leaving it parked outside ...ANY WHERE? The answer to all questions: NO. So do I really care about this Italian sportscar? Not so much....I am an American muscle car guy and this is a Camaro website. Thanks, but no thanks.

Never said you had to agree. I'm a huge musclecar fan myself, but this is the refined power that I love as well.
This car isn't the best because it's an Italian sportscar. This car isn't the best because it's expensive. This car isn't the best because it's the fastest car ever produced. This car isn't the best because it's supposed to be garaged and kept under cover with low miles. This car is the best for the driving experience you get. Not only does it sound like the F1 car because of the 3.5L v8 which revs to 8000, but it handles extremely well. With the noise and enough power to plant you in your seat, it has brought me to tears of joy the few times I've driven one. On a complete side-note: My 25th birthday is coming up (able to rent a car by myself) and my g/f promised me 3 years ago that she was going to rent me one for my birthday this year. Due to the crappy economy, she's not able to so I'm kinda bummed and I think that's why I've been watching videos all night about this beauty. |

They are fantastic cars. I got the opportunity on my 25th birthday to ride in a 25th anniversary Lamborghini Countach <black> to the restaurant, and a ride home in a 355 GTS <yellow>. The Lambo had the best sound but by far the Ferrari had the most comfortable ride.

I stopped liking ferrari's when I turned 7...don't get me wrong, they're gorgeous cars and what not, they're just stupid. $4,000 for an oil change, no thanks, $10,000 for a tune up every 10,000 miles, I'm out. Not to mention the Ferrari's that run $300,000 still get beat by a Z06. Same with the Lambo Gallardo. They can't keep up with a Z06.
I got a phone up (customer over the phone for those who aren't in the car business) the other day. This guy said that he wanted our Black Z06. I said ok. He said he wanted $1,500 off MSRP and he would wire the money over right away. With a little sweet talking to my boss, he agreed. The guy wired the money over like he said and told me to drive the vehicle to his house with the paper work and he would sign everything there. So I drive to his house and when I got there, he had a brand new '08 Gallardo in his drive way. I asked him if he collected sports cars or something considering what he was buying and what he had in his driveway. He said "No, I just pulled up to a stop light the other day and a Z06 pulled up next to me. We both started revving our engines and we took off when the light turned, and the Z06 SMOKED me, so now I have to buy one so I can sell that piece of junk out there." That's right...he called his Lambo junk. They are pretty cars, they're fast, they attract attention etc etc, but the Z06 is just so much more bang for your buck. |

I love Ferraris... wouldn't own one, but loved driving them... and would love to drive someone else's because that's the best kind of Ferrari to drive... because heaven help you if you ever have to have one repaired... and that really is the only problem with the Ferrari.

thats why we don't plan to see the one at the track any time soon but it's not coming out of his pocket, it's little honda boy that rear ended him thats at fault who therefore will have to pay in theory but he probably doesn't have that much $
