The springs are a 2.5-3 hour job (per Pfadt), total cost just depends on labor rates in your area and how much they charge for the alignment.

I called a few places around me for install of the BMR 1" lowering springs and was told $350-$400 without the alignment.

If you are mechanicaly inclined and have a lap top they are easy to do in your drive way. We did mine in about 3 hours this week end. The DIY section on this site is amazing. A local vendor put an aggressive alignment on it today for $100.

with the alignment i think its not bad yeh a little high figuring a good alignment is 85-100 and 400 for labor thats about 125per hour, maybe 50 bucks higher than average id say

If you have basic tools and a little know how do them yourself, they are sooooo easy to do.

Last time i took a car in to have springs installed it cost around $310 with alignment. The shop was very good. Chicane sport tuning in CA. That was about 4 1/2 years ago. Maybe prices have gone up

what kind of car was it?
If it's the mustang i can see that, It's a lot easier on that, and the labor rates in your area are lower than my area,

I paid $300 for the install ($75/hr for 4 hours). I then went to the alignment shop and paid $100 to have the bushings timed and alignment. Install was done on a Saturday and I was able to drive her to work on Monday.

The cost quoted is about right for a spring install with an alignment. You start paying less, then the techs are getting paid less, if the techs are not paid right, they rush through the job.

Unless your labor rate is a lot lower than mine, what's your labor rate?
I am not sure if they have a service shop, maybe they Chase can advise.

I agree with your logic Rob, assuming your technicians are paid a flat rate pay schedule.

It is a 4 hour job done properly, our rate for example is 80 per hour. And four wheel alignments are 75-100 dollars, so its not an outrageous price by any stretch.

Regards
