I like everything 'cept for the rear pipes. I don't know why but the two pipes in the middle looks ricey to me.

I bought a tuner kit an I knew the complete kit came with 63lb/hr I believe so I went with 65's. I hoping that I will be ok with a bap and those injectors... I plan on running no more than 9 psi.

The ZL1 fuel pump should only be good for about 600-650 horsepower at the flywheel by itself... so he will need that and a boost-a-pump. Or a new twin pump kit like Lingenfelter offers, which is what we will probably be using.

It seems like different dynos put out way different numbers. I ran 145mph at 3300# and another guy on a forum ran 145mph at 3400#. You'd think very close dyno numbers, but I made 590whp and he made 750whp. Both 6.0 engines and 75mm turbo. Pretty ridiculous difference when the cars had to make almost the exact same amount of power to go the same speed at the same weights.

So how was the install, everything fairly straight forward no big issues? What guages are you running?

these are by far the best pictures of the kit posted I have seen, I made the same numbers basically with a canned tune, Im looking foward to a " real tune " still not sure of deleting the cats @ Sean did you get a smell from the cat deletes ? Im probably adding ARH shortys soon and debating weather to catless or get the PI catalytic cats for boosted cars

adding a ZL1 fuel pump next im not looking to go over 600 right now

1/4 mile update: 11.50 @ 126 mph

Thanks, right now there are no mufflers, so it's a little raspy around 2k rpms with no cats. We'll be putting mufflers on there soon tho, and pulling the tips in a little more, I think they are sticking out a little too far right now..

Install was great, all bolt on stuff. The kit comes with step by step instructions and detailed pictures. Right now I have the a temporary AEM wideband set on the dash for tuning. Auto Meter Elite gauges are on order (the gauges that change colors at high/low thresholds), they should be here next week and those are going in the Auto Meter dual gauge pod on the pillar. I will be using Vac/Boost and Fuel Pressure gauges for now.

Keep us updated on how yours turns out. No smell from the cat-delete pipes, other than the initial burn off from the residue inside. That was gone in a minute or two though. Let me if the ARH shorties fit this kit.

We did some 1/4 mile testing on Saturday. With an easy 3,200 rpm launch on the Nitto NT555R drag radials, we got an 11.50 @ 126 mph with a 1.91 60'.

Not bad for cruising down the track. Picked up 1.5 seconds and 15 mph over the 13.0@111 mph we initially ran in this car when it was stock.

anti-lag / launch control update

We now have the Lingenfelter fuel pump upgrade installed, as well as a nice catch can, and more importantly, the Lingenfelter Launch Control box installed. We have it set at -5* timing pulled, with a .4 second delay, and 4,500 RPM rev limiter. Right now it's making about 4 lbs of boost at the line. Should be a huge improvement in the 60' times at the track to say the least! (we use a Hurst short shifter and shift knob with a button on it to control both the anti-lag/launch control box, and the line lock for burnouts) 1,000 HP axles/half-shafts coming soon as well!

Thanks for sharing the pictures and info. I am really looking into doing this kit on mine just because its strait bolt-on. Just got done with a custom kit for my 2002 and man I had a lot of bugs to work out.

Let us know how well the Lingenfelter Launch Control box helps at the track...

I installed the same one on my rear mount vette and went from a 1.85 60ft to 1.55 60ft cause I was able to leave the line with 5-6# boost.
