Exhaust Sidepipes?

Would it be possible to put on just the side ground effects and then cut them so that the car has side exit exhaust?

I would then rebuild the rear exhaust area into just a diffuser like on some supercars or the viper.

What do you all think of that idea?

I love the idea!!! Something really different. We are all looking for something that looks good and is different from all the rest so we can standout.

I think it would look good it you did it where just the tips are exposed at the rear of the ground FX...Just like a Viper. Anybody know i fyou can buy just the Side skirts from the GFX package? Or how long it might be until an aftermarket company does it?

Better yet, does anybody have a picture or photoshop of a car with just the side skirts?

I could build it if it would work out...

I need some really good pictures of the under side of the car, and I would try to make it work work with BMR subframe connectors too.

I already found the pip to use, just need to see what it would look like under there with the side skirts on it.

The more I look at it the less I like the factory Ground kit...I am hoping the aftermarket comes up with something pretty quick. Done right I think it could look sick!

ZZ, I think you may be sick. Just kidding, but nowadays is it legal to dump the exhaust in front of the rear axle? And unless you're going to have a chrome side exhaust pipe the full length of the side of the car, is it worth the effort for just a couple of exit holes in the effects? It is very energetic though I'll give you that.

There would be a nice molded area around the exhaust tip... And there are plenty of cars out there that have the exhaust dumped there from the factory.

The idea is on hold for now anyway until there is a better looking set of side skirts...I just do not think the lines of teh GM ones woudl do well with the side exhaust.

How about some boom tubes? Looks like the Nascar style vent exhaust?

I think that photshop looks sweet. I am going hold off and wait for an aftermarket GFX kit that it would work out with. I am not a fan of the factory setup because fo the front and rear.

Once there are some aftermarket side skirts...WATCH OUT !!!!!
