Special tool identification help?? Steering rack HELP
Anyone can point me towards the special tool I need to remove the end cap inside the steering rack? This is the cap, going to need a 5 lug socket of some sort to remove

The rack is 1 7/8" ID on my micrometer.

just gonna mic sockets til i find one with 1 7/8 OD

Good idea with the pipe.
and done. hydraulic components removed, manual rack complete. |

Good to hear you got it out. We had the same issue when we were dissassembling the rack.
