GM Hi Tech Performance Article

In the Sept issue of the magazine (pg 34) is an article on some initial drag runs I did (over 20 runs) for the magazine to get some real 1/4 mile times (videos are on their website -- no numbers shown so as not to be a spoiler). They also had a manual car run up in NJ at the same time. These runs were done with just under 500 miles on the car and I was just learning how to drive this car on the track so I was happy with the results. I hope to get some of the performance upgrades on the car into the magazine as well (they already captured details of a full day of dyno tuning on the car).

I would like to thank Scott Parker and Justin Cesler for the opportunity and as you will see from the article Justin captured some awesome photos of the car.

I just read that. There were pretty horribly conditions too. Did you guys get temp, humidity, and barometer to do an SAE correction?

Nice, I talked to Jeremy about your car. He tuned your car, right? He tuned mine on Saturday.
Is your car going to be in the next issue?

Geoff - I did get the data for correction which corrected right to GM's published numbers of 13.2 @ 107 .

Yep Jeremy spent an entire day working with the car to get familiar with the beta HP tuners software and the car itself. I was very happy with the results, especially on the transmission tuning. They shot that for the magazine as well and would expect it to show up in a later article. The car is in the issue just coming out this week and they did a great job of capturing the IOM in the sun.

Yeah, I've got a subscription to GM High Tech Mag. I really liked the article and your car ran great for summer in S.W. Florida.
And Jeremy is extremely knowledgeable and really knows his stuff.

Can't wait to see your car in upcoming issues. Your car looks great (a lot like mine if I might say so myself)
