Eibach springs question, help!!
Ok, so I have a set of pro-kit lowering springs and they were installed correctly and everything seems fine...except..well, you'll see in the pictures. So whats going on here? The front of the car is higher than stock and the rear is slammed. These are suppose to be 1" lowering springs. part # 38144.140
Do they need time to settle? It just seems so drastic. First picture is the front of the car, 2nd picture is the back. This is on a 2010 camaro with 2013 springs, part numbers are a exact match so it shouldn't matter.

It's hard to tell because the first picture is dark, but the coils look closer together on the front than mine (like the back coils are on the front?). Are the coils seated properly back into the cradle on each end? Is the 24MM nut screwed down all the way? I watched this video before doing mine and kept me on the right track. If you are confident on all the above, then it is entirely possible you have been given the wrong springs, or the wrong springs are in the right box. No doubt it is incorrect though.
I can't go look at mine right now because it is getting some upgrades - sorry!

Assuming you moved it off the rack before taking this picture... I'd call Eibach and verify the part number that is directly on the springs themselves. It may be different then the part number on the box. Doing that will verify that the correct springs were in the box. As long as you moved it before taking the pictures, it's not just going to settle evenly.

Ya that really doesn't look right when I lowered my car with the same eibach pro kit. It was much lower. Both in the front and in the back. I would call eibach about this

That is definitely too high, something is not right. I'm kinda with SeaCompiler on this one. It is hard to tell from that first pic, but it looks like those are either incorrect springs or the rear springs. The front springs should be beehive like in shape, just like the ones in that phastek video shot. The rear springs would be small at the bottom and larger at the top, with 3-4 same size coils very close to each other at the top.

These are installed incorrectly, switch the springs front to back.
I did this when I installed my stocks back on. The front was high AF! And the rear was slammed. Never again while drinking beer lol |
