Great time
You should post your timeslip with a detailed list of your mods in the official 1/4 mile thread so you can be added to the list. Your time will take over the top spot in the bolt ons. It looks like you used the same recipe as OrangeChevy. He ran 11.83 @ 116 mph with CAI, LT Headers, Tune, different wheel and tire setup. He used 18'' wheels while you were using 17''. He was also running skinnies up front. |

i'm goint to post the slip today and geoff @ EPS is a great guy and is fair with the pricing ! and for the record i had 1/2 tank of gas and didnt remove anything in car to reduce weight. i'm sure i could of empty the trunk, pass seat, etc and ran faster!

I'm considering the supercharger route. But then I see times like yours and I just think, "wow, some bolt on cars are faster than SC ones." I was reading a magazine recently that showed Callaway's 2010 Camaro SS and SLP's and they run between 12.2 and 12.5 at 115 mph, and you just destroy their cars. They use the Maggies I think. Granted, they are using stock tires, but still, really makes you think that with good traction and a skilled driver, a bolt on Camaro SS can embarass a SC'd one if the driver of the SC'd car isn't very experienced with their car yet. |
