Needed: 3" muffler - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Anyone have a 3" center inlet center outlet muffler. Something cheap and quiet. The yahoo I got my truck from thought it would be cool to put a 1 series flowmaster muffler on it. So needless to say, it's loud and annoying. Help?

Camarowguy - Do you mean a 10 Series? If so, that's considered a racing muffler so we understand why you would like your truck a little quieter. What sound range are you looking for? Mild, moderate, aggressive? What kind of truck is it?

Yep, 10 series...sorry. It's a 2000 silverado 1500 5.3, all stock...and this yahoo I got it from wanted it to be loud for some reason. I'm really looking for something cheap (used more likely) because I've run out of funds trying to get this truck in order. It's just a beater to pull my little utility trailer. But hey, if you have something cheap laying around, by all means let me know. Thx!

O and to answer your question, the quieter, the better! Lol
