ZL1 was egged tonight, jealousy or prank? It is what it is.

Left the ZL1 outside in my driveway over the weekend to come home to find it egged tonight. I had went out of town on Fri then came back on Sun. The shell was on the driver side roof and the yolk had ran down the door and it looked to appear it had rained. It looked fresh as it might have happened today but I don't know.

Never dealt with this. I got the hose out and tried rinsing it off then I immediately took it to a touch less wash. Mind you it's dark outside. I can't see much of anything to see if any damage occurred. It hadn't dried up from what I could see as the car was wet. I guess time will tell tomorrow.

Any suggestions? Now I've heard of Halloween pranks but on Easter? I filed a police report. But other than that I'm hoping there isnt any suprise damages that I see tomorrow. So much for Happy Easter. Wish I could see it happening as I pulled up, but what are the chances of that.

That sucks. Stupid people. Years ago some little kids egged my 98 TA and it actually cracked the paint in one spot.

Oh man that sux! Sorry to hear that. But the same happened to me but with ketchup on a 100+ degree day. Happened to my pickup. I went Oriellys and bought a can of Mothers wax/cleaner. The manager said it works for eggs also. Hand wash it real good then hand rub the wax. Don't use a buffer or polisher just elbow grease. It cleaned it up perfect. I was so mad I was fit to be hog tied so I feel your pain. But it did work great.

Happened to me about 10 years ago as I was driving past the Monterey Bay Aquarium... chipped the paint off my hood. I hope all is well for you.

Jeleaous brother in law scraped the side of my GTO with a bud light cap when it was new on the 4th of july. It scratched it down to the metal. He never did own up to it but his now ex wife later admitted to it after lying about it. Some people are just jerks. Sorry to hear about your car though.

My guess would be that someone figured out who you are and was pissed over your complaining about your car not being special enough compared to all the low lifes that can only afford to buy a SS or V6 or that they copy your ride by installing ZL1 components.

Just a guess though.

Your bro in law? That's cold. I'm glad I'm close to my brother in law.

Sorry to hear that OP, hope your paint wasn't damaged. I've had something similar happen to my 2007 Impala SS. I just hand washed it at my parents and I went home afterwards. I parked it on the side of the street and as I just left the vehicle and I was in my driveway, a shitty stratus cruises by and floors it as soon as he got by my car. This is on a road that just got tarred and gravelled not too long ago, so there's lots of loose rocks. Lucky for the retard his front wheel drive stratus didn't throw any rocks at my car. Otherwise I would have chased him down to get his plates.
