TRANS FIX ????? - Page 2 - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

OH, POOP ,,and i thought you guys were sure on the fluid. now i gotta search as i dont want to use wrong stuff.-------------well i went to my local chevy dealer after leaving work [chrysler dealer] lol, and i told the serv guy my problem and his exact word was that they had fixed about a dozen with the shift issues .so i tried to get it out of him what they do to repair, but he wouldnt say-- but he gave me the crap of not being able to work on it till about in 4 months as all book up ????? --guess he saw i didnt buy it there.- So i sent a mesage to the owner as, where i work we do thier repair work, if its warr,[dealers suppose to work as a team] --I hope to here from them.- ill keep you posted , hopfully with good news, or ask me on it as im sure you will be curios as to what they do to fix- if they do.

yes gm called for rear end oil IN THE AY6 MANUL TRANS. ?? well after research and talks with a fer trans guys they all said same thing the v6 manull came with gear oil and too get it out and put in a syn 80 transaxle fluid like for example REDLINE MTX # 50204.-- I TRID AND IT WORKS GREAT.- GEE IN THE beginning gm called for a gl4 rated fluid orig in the AY6 MMMMMMMMM
