New member shopping. Check this out

Originally, I had planned on buying a new 2011 Camaro SS. I just found this, I gave the dealership a call and offered them 31,500 Cash which they are now running by the Sales manager and calling me back.
http://www.betley.com/VehicleDetails...-NH/1036776483

It only has 15,000 miles. I assume it was bought in mid 09. Is that a fair deal? It is the exact color and options I want with the exception of a sunroof, however I am very interested in the T-top kit, the problem with that is that I dont know of anywhere around here that can install it.

I found an intake I wanted a while back, but now I can not find it again. It was the only one I came across that mounted the filter in the center of the grill behind the scoop, rather than off to the sides.

After that I would like to do my exhaust, But I am not sure if I want to to header-back, cat-back, or just an axleback system. I would love to put on quad tips and have the skill and tools to do it, I just need to know what size and if it is doable with the ground effects.

Thank you in advance, I look forward to hearing from you.

That's a bit on the high side for having 15,000 miles

I may would offer them 29k and go from there. You have to remember there is hella mark up in used cars vs. new cars. They prolly have 27ish in that one. So start low then go up from there. As far the exhaust I dunno if quads would work due to the aluminum trim around the exhaust portals.

There is no "t-top" kit per say, there is a company that will do the conversion from what I hear. Its NOT cheap though. I doubt you'd find anyone local brave enough to do it.

If you have that much cash why not get a 2012...if your only borrowing 5 or 6k your payments would be next to nothing

Now that's a friend. But $31,500 is a lil high man.

I got mine brand new off the lot for $34900. Same car, except 2011 model year, no GFX but with factory Hurst shifter. I say you can do better for a 2 year old car with that mileage.

I agree, seems a little high... also I would normally have a link to the car fax on my inventory. Did you see the car fax?

I believe the intake you are looking for is the Vararam.

I'm surprised they had to run that number by the sales manager. I bet they call back and accept your offer. Good luck!!
