Realistically anything within 1-2s of time is a drivers race.
Two seconds in the 1/4 mile is a huge margin. Even one second is an ass-kicking. The term drivers race doesn't mean if one driver has a stroke the other driver will win, that's just basic common sense. It means the cars are so close in performance that a slight advantage in driver ability to one car will result in that car winning. A two second difference in the 1/4 mile is nowhere near a drivers race, it's a slaughter.

The launch alone can make up 1s almost. Yes I know what the words driver, and race mean

A whole second in the launch means one driver seriously screwed up. Your 1LE and a Scion FRS are generally about 2 seconds off in the 1/4 mile. Drivers race?

yep where ur proof? or u talkin out ur ass
da was about 2000. car has a ton left in it. that was just the first pass after a 2.5 hour drive straight to the staging lanes. took it easy on the car just to get a pass in and see what its gonna do. then a damn dodge 4 door long bed diesel truck broke and wrecked and they were like 2 hours workin no getting it off the track . couldnt make no more passes. if ur cobra so bad why get a slow 5th gen? lol

Slow? You just have not ran into the right person driving one stock, mildly moded, or heavily modded. Those cars are no joke and have tones of potential.

not say slow it just takes them more to get there. u can make anything fast. but for what they are and what they have they are just about on par with a zl1. ive raced alot of cobras. i do alot of racing with the kentucky street outlawz and wv street outlawz. they have diff rules more towards street cars . but i go to one of there races almost everyweekend. and alway race a few guys at least once a week if not 2 nights a week. trust me ive raced a few. my brother in law owns 2 fairly quick ones but they are not a 5.0 or a ls car .

ur typical 450 rwhp cobra runs 12's at least in my part of the world it does. come visit kyhorsepower.com. just go thur and look at some of the videos of cobras getting yanked. by 380 rwhp vettes and cobras making 500's . there not even close. a bunch of camaro yanking them aswell. ya every now and then they are a good running cobra but its usally a big hp car.

done talkin about it tho. ive ran it too many times to know. have i been beat by a cobra of coarse. but mod for mod those cars will never compair i dont think.

one of my friend that use to own a badass cobra . just look thur some of his videos. hes made it his mission to race 5.0 and slowbras in the last few months..
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...T2FAbznAy8ZWzg

his old vette was 380 rwhp auto i think . his vette he has now had for a month or so. put down 420 on one dyno and 433 on another. racing a bunch of 500+ 600+ cobras. u tell me.
all from rolls too. a roll show just pure power pretty much.

My 04 had a pulley, tune, and CAI and put down 455hp / 454 tq on a dynojet. Very strong pulling car. Also to chime in on the stock Cobra vs the 5.0, I found my Cobra to be faster stock vs stock.

Every Cobra I've pulled up to has said they have "540rwhp", like that is their magical number or something... I have only taken one getting on the freeway and i let off at 75mph and he was about a half a car behind me... i'm at 486rwhp... so I take it they are either 'stretching' their numbers, or I happen to get lucky... i ran 8.1xx in the 1/8th mile in 98 degree weather my first time ever at a track just the other week (got kicked off cuz i had no helmet and ran faster than 8.59, so that ended my track night)

I think they're over hyped and lying about their HP most of the time... Don't get me wrong, I like the Cobra's for some reason, but out of the 15 or so that i've come across, "540 hp to the wheels" is what they say..
