The track was slick because how cold its been, if you look close at vid in turn 3 got a little sideways,breaks were good getting cool air, motor had a lot of hp temps got to 54 the motor loved it.

cool vid

nice video- camera location looks great and its like drivin it when we watch it, more wind noise then engine sound maybe need ext. mic under hood.great driving skills shown on vid- your doing good. now how many sets of tires have you used up so far?thanks i have enjoyed all your video's ...later mark

mark, 4 track days and tires are ok, next year im getting a set just for track days and im getting the mic and other add on's for the gopro camara. thanks mark the zl1 is awesome

Fantastic vid. This is sort of thing the car was made for. I can't imagine buying a 580hp muscle car just to trundle around surface streets or park it car shows.

I've done several track days in my former S2000 as well as the California Superbike School at VIR and most recently Boss Track Attack at Miller Motorsports park (I have a 2012 Boss 302). Every day on a race track is a good one.

If you never done a track day, make plans to do one now. It's tremendous fun and if you exercise a modicum of caution you won't crash. But even if you do, you can buy track day insurance.

For those in the Atlanta area, the SCCA is having a PDX on Nov 2 at Road Atlanta. I would be great if one you would sign up and provide me the opportunity to smoke a Zl1 at the track.
