NPP HELP

I have an opportunity to pick up a set of Dual mode mufflers, I am familiar with the theory of opperation but some things are unclear. My stock exhaust has the big H PIPE resonator, does the npp system also have? Or do they have something different? I will probably buy "npp in a box" but was curious if a non npp car would still have the fuse, relay, or circuit in general. Obviously the vac lines and vac switching valve are not.

Let me put it this way, I would love if I could install a fuse and relay in an already existing npp circuit, fab my own wire harness for the vac switch valves then run the vac lines in the proper factory locations.

Chances seem very thin in my mind. So I am reaching out to the fellow NPP owners for pictures of the h pipe resonator or the difference of, pics of the vac switch valves under hood, any wiring diagrams, or whatever you can add.

Thank you in advance.

I'm one of those 76! I haven't crawled under my car yet to know how to answer your question. If you don't get an answer, PM me and I'll look for you at my NPP.

The NPP setup is different from the cats back, there is no bulky hpipe/resonator setup but there is an hpipe

Ok, the pictures answer a lot, but im wondering about the chance the factory circuit is pre wired into the harness etc....

I asked this same question. The answer is no. The only way to get it to function is with a mild 2 wild controller. The factory installed is programmed through the BCM and has some other stuff that isnt possible to retrofit. Consensus is also that the mild2wild is a better option than factory anyway as factory has some goofy parameters of opening and closing the valves. Mine will be going on next week.

Excellent information, exactly what I was looking for. But one more question, there are 2 people inquiring before me on the NPP exhaust, possible both will buy used NPP, (there are 2 avail and I am 3rd in line), but does anyone know of ANYWHERE else a used NPP is available for quick purchase?
