MileMAN402's 2010 2SS/RSS Build Thread

Updated with Jannetty mods from the end of summer
Found this car online used out of NY. Picked it up and immediately began some mods.

1. Stripes
- I had wanted to just put some front fender stripes on the car to give it a little color but my dad won out wanting full body stripes. Some of the pictures change the color but the last few are a good representation...it's hugger orange.

2. Other Paint
- Since the car just has the black interior I asked the paint guys to paint the door and dash accents orange too. I think it turned out great and I like it more than the factory interior cuz I'm not a huge fan of the orange seats.
- They also painted the stock engine cover but my favorite part is the calipers which really show behind the black wheels.

3. Wheels
- We went back and forth for a while whether to get new wheels or just widen the stock ones. Then I saw on here that a member was selling a pair of widened rear wheels for much cheaper than it would have been to get my fronts widened so I bought those. Then I had the new rears and the stock rears powdercoated black and threw some INVO 315's on the back. I agree with other members that this is how the wheels/tires should have been from the factory. It looks great and really helps handling.

4. New Exhaust
The Dynomax didn't sound bad but I wanted a full exhaust. I got in touch with John at Trackspec Motorsports (a aponsor and amazing guy to work with!) and he hooked me up with the full LG Exhaust. This exhaust is amazing! The sound isn't overwhelming and I love it. Not to mention the new power from the headers.

5. Cam, Upgraded Valvetrain, Cold Air Inductions Intake, ADM Scoop, Washer Bottle relocation, Dyno Tune
So in mid August I took a trip up to Connecticut and left my car at Jannetty's for a couple days. When I got it back the results were 458rwhp and 429 rwtq. The new power is great and I went with a blower cam so I can hopefully go that route in the future.

I probably left something out at the moment but let me know what you guys think!
