Before we hit the last week of March, I would expect some type of update from Chevy. I would assume they realize that many were anticipating/planning for the mid March delivery, and will advise you of future plans? I think the posts from people who are in bind offer a different perspective than just "bitching" as some have alluded to. When I take my shot at the 2013 Vert I to will have a window of opportunity, but I am sure everything will be rolling by then. Although, with the 2012 coming out soo close to the 2013 Vert, I may wait and see what changes the 2014 has to offer?

Cool ??????????????????????????

Not sure I can believe HP up date or a change in guzzler tax.It would be nice but it seems too late in the production of the ZL-1

Last I heard, all the delay is if the hood insert. Just have some patience. This exact thing happened 3 years ago with the first batch of 5th Gens.

Exactly, just because we are asking for an update, some on this site start referring to that as bitching, or stop feeling entitled to an answer, or just relax and wait. Well it’s not that easy, financing, selling of old car, planning is all part of it, and for some I can imagine it is very stressful. While I think most of us agree that GM is doing the right thing by holding vehicles and fixing the problem, we are still paying customers that would appreciate a general update. Or how about some official pictures of that damn grey stripe. Still have not seen one offical GM picture, other than the duct tape picture taken by enthusiast at the auto show.

Just noticed this is post #666, dont like that

SIX more weeks? Well, isn't that special! I SOLD my VR-4 several months ago in anticipation of taking delivery of a ZL1. I'm sharing a Nissan Altima with my wife in the interim. If I don't get my paperwork processed to register my Camaro in the next few weeks, I'll lose my State Sales TAX credit of a couple of grand. I spent a small fortune reconfiguring/pouring a new driveway to accomodate the ZL1's approach angle. MY ZL1 #61 has been sitting on the back lot in Oshawa since the end of January. I have to undergo surgery this Summer & I won't be able to drive the car for months. Thanks Chevy! Even if it shows up in two months, I won't be able to drive it until Fall. Talk about major suckage & I have a $2.5K NON REFUNDABLE deposit down. Brilliant Marketing!

Talk about PERMA-FROWN!!!!!! I suppose that all those ZL1s that the publications have been driving were somehow spared from this disaster? GOD help Chevy if these cars are any less than PERFECT!

Vey well put!!! I just confirmed that I can get an extension on my loan so Im good there!!! My main thing is keeping my SS with as low milkes as I can... things will get better in time... we must work through them... Im glad we got an answer today though... six weeks yes longer than expected but how about this... we can pay more down, lower our debt, and things of that nature... Im trying to stay positive but in this note, Our ZL1's BETTER be PERFECT... if not ill be perma-mad! lol (;

I'm not putting too much faith in anything coming out of Chevrolet Customer Service! Seems like every inquiry that I've made to them comes back with multiple scenarios with more questions than answers--like they are not totally informed!! I have not had much luck with any of their 'information'!
