Get a REALLY BIG umbrella!
Grats on the new ride! You have plenty of time to take pics now since it's raining! Make sure you update your Drives: field.

Is it going to be a daily driver or just a weekend warrior?
Might be hard, but can you put off delivery until a sunny day?

Booooosted.

Just drive it. I like the way they look when the rain beeds down the sides and off the hood. Shortly after it gets grimed up but you'll be ok.
Of course it's gonna get scratched all to hell in the rain and you'll probably never get to see it at it's best again. Just kidding. Enjoy the car. Trust me, it'll shine up real good and pretty as soon as it dries out. |

CONGRATS!! but just think about it this way.....if she gets dirty, it just gives you more of a reason to be with her and pamper a bit more.

Yep, ideally you want to take delivery on a nice sunny day and drive it all day. Oh well some days are better than others. Just be careful and watch for those who are not.
Congrats and enjoy!

Yea man don't worry we were droughted here in Austin for months and the same week it ended, you guessed it, delivery. Weather has been terrible, I've washed my car like 6 times. It hasn't taken a drop of sweetness out of the experience, don't fret, just enjoy!

I know the feeling... it was raining the day I picked mine up as well... and to top it off, the factory cross threaded the nut for the pass side wiper arm, so it was useless... oh well, I was still ecstatic to be picking it up.

Wooo, I would drive it regardless. Well as long as there wasn't golf ball (or +) sized hail
Get out there! I would, if I could get one, grrr. |

When I got my car in May, we had almost daily, and 'record setting' amounts of rain for May, June, AND July too, so I got 'quite the christening'...lol... Just enjoy the ride and welcome to the 'PERMAGRIN CLUB!!!'

Commits weekly crime
|
I will be getting mine Tuesday night. The day after I scheduled taking a day off from work to enjoy a drive in the new car, the 10-day weather report showed that it'd be rain and snow here in Seattle. Fortunately, you cannot predict the weather here. Current forecasts show it'll be clear & cold. Still, I'm worried it'll rain/snow...
