2014 Hood Vent Should Allow for More Engine Rumble?

I have never been in a car with a hood vent.

But would it be safe to assume that the hood vent would allow for more engine noise to be heard?

from the inside I would say no, standing beside the car around the hood area I would say yes. From the exhaust no.

I have Hex vents and don't really notice much of any additional sound emanating from the hood because of them. Love 'em though.

No rumble, but that serpentine belt hiss may get slightly louder
