Need some serious help.
Ok, so I bought a 2011 LS and I've completed all my visual stuff. Now I want to work with performance. This will be my first car I've actually done anything to and I just planned on doing a CAI, a performance chip, and a tune. But I have no idea what I'm looking for. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

As for a CAI, there are many options, our CAI is extremely popular. It will net you 16 rwhp, better sound at WOT, improved throttle response, and it has a really nice fit and finish which looks great under the hood.
As far as your "performance chip, and a tune" comment, its typically one or another. A custom dyno tune or handheld tuner is what will change the vehicles tune, but you don't do both that and a chip because essentiall a chip is changing your tune too. A custom Dyno tune or mail order tune from a reputable and known tuner on this forum will get you what you are looking for, "Chips" are not really what people do on these Camaros. CAI: CAI Inc, Roto-Fab, and Vararam appear to be the most popular brands. All have had many positive reviews.
Performance Chip: SKIP THE CHIP - it's snake-oil Tune: Choose from Hypertech, Trifecta, and IPF. There is some data that suggests that the IPF tune shows the most gains in the 2010-2011 LLT powered Camaros. However the gains in power and torque are not that large with any of the V6 tunes, IMO. If you have an automatic transmission, I can say the Trifecta transmission tune really improves the feel of the car. I can't speak for the others. There are some power/torque gains to be had with manifold insulator/spacers, long-tube headers as well. All but the headers can be done without a tune, and all are pretty easy to install. (Well, the headers can be done w/o a tune, but you'll be running with a constant CEL)

Your dealer guys are clueless. I don't think I've seen a single person on this forum who's bought a "chip" and come on here to brag about it. Why would you do a chip, then tune the car for it, when you could just tune the stock ECM?
My understanding is that all the chips do is fool the ECM into thinking some parameters have changed, when they haven't. Just do the tune, IMO. But do your other mods first, like CAI, ported TB, intake manifold spacer, headers, etc. Then tune.
