need help going down to 17" welds.
Ok guys im going down on rim size for traction purposes my mods are:
3:73 gear going with 1.4 drop in front springs, no cats nor res, k&n, x pipe, tuned throttle body spacer..im going to be adding a 3200 tripple disc street fighter stall. ( soon after that I will install long tube headers) what tire should I go with the hoosier slick or some radials. This is my dd as well guys but sometimes I like to have fun on the weekends on the streets so the tires i get for the welds need to be safe enough for a road race (30 roll, dig) on a good road. Legal or illegal idc in texas But these tires are meant mostly for track just maybe once every other month of street use for 1 night Plz help

What type of converter is that? Hoosier will hook the best but I wouldn't drive them on the street too dangerous IMO, I run M/Ts 295/45/17s and do well for rows and digg street runs in Mexico.

Well I want to pro charge in a year or 2 but id rather not go skinnies I dont mind the weighed down rim ill check them.out but I do plan on headers maybe a small cam an pro charger
but im buying 17x10 weld rims so what will.be the best for that rim size. My 3:73 gears roast my tires an sometimes 60s r 2.0 with out stall I want 1.6 or 1.7 with the stall

but will it help that much since I'm dropping from 20 inch to 17 even though I'm on drag radial right now on 20 and I can hardly hook full throttle

I just bought the 3200 Street Fighter TCI stall.. I really dont know. how it's going to hook up with my 20 inch drag radials I have nittos nt555r on it. my friends 12 Camaro has 500 rear wheel horsepower and he cuts 1.7 with this stall with stock gear but he chirps in 2nd...
so I bought it off him. Since my car already has 3:73 gears I hook on ave 1.9 to 2.1 wit 20" stock rim and chirps into 2 n 3rd When I add this still stall I want to be safe so I dont spin. What should I go with the 17x10 weld. btw im putting lowering springs in the front 1.4 and keeping stock ride height springs in back

My NTO5rs hook like glue, but I don't have aggressive gearing. They handle very nice and hook on the street very good also.

they have told me about those but I have aggressive gearing that's the only reason why I am thinking slick
